State Bank is the largest bank in the country in terms of customers and market share. It has more than 24,000 branches across the country. If you have an account in State Bank of India, then there is good news for you. Now you will not have to go to the bank for small tasks. SBI Customer Service Center agents will personally come to your home and solve your problems. Because State Bank has planned to start kiosk banking for its customers. This means that now you will not have to go to the bank to withdraw and deposit money, rather the agents of the customer service center will reach your home to provide banking services.

It is being said that the introduction of kiosk banking facility will greatly benefit the elderly and disabled. They will not have to face trouble in going to the bank. SBI Chairman Dinesh Khara says that the objective of this initiative is to make financial inclusion stronger and easier, so that banking services can be delivered to the homes of common people. According to Dinesh Khara, this new initiative of State Bank will now help the customer service center agents in providing banking services to their customers at home. Also, disabled, elderly and sick people will not have to come to the bank.

More than 75 percent of total transactions

SBI Chairman Dinesh Khara has said that under this new initiative, initially the State Bank has started five banking services. That means customers will now be able to avail the facility of withdrawing money, depositing money, money transfer, balance checking and mini statement while sitting at home. The special thing is that these services account for more than 75 percent of the total transactions taking place at the customer service centers of the bank.

Account opening and card based services will also be available

According to Chairman Dinesh Khara, the bank will expand its services further later. He said that later customers will also get enrolment, account opening and card based services under social security schemes.
