IPL 2024  Auction : IPL 2024 auction is going to be held in Dubai on 19th December. Before this mini auction, all 10 franchises have released the list of their released and retained players. Some teams released many of their big players, mostly foreign players. Let us know about 5 star foreign cricketers, who may not be bought by any team in the auction of the upcoming season.

jofra archer

England fast bowler Joffra Archer was bought by Mumbai Indians for Rs 8 crore in the IPL 2022 auction. But due to injury he could not play that entire season. He returned in 2023 and played 5 matches, in which he took only 2 wickets. Archer was out of IPL 2023 midway due to injury. Due to injury, he could not even play in the 2021 IPL. Due to injury problems, teams may avoid betting on Archer in the upcoming auction.

harry brook

England's explosive batsman Harry Brook was included in last season's auction by Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs 13.25 crore. But Brook did not live up to team expectations, scoring only 190 runs in 11 innings, including an unbeaten century. His bat remained calm even in the 2023 World Cup held in India. Brook, who made a splash in Test cricket, has not been able to show the same performance in limited overs cricket.

shakib al hassan

Bangladesh's star all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders in the last auction for his base price of Rs 1.50 crore. But he withdrew from the tournament citing personal reasons and busy schedule. Let us tell you that no team bought him in the IPL 2022 auction. Shakib is now entering politics and will contest the 2024 general elections of Bangladesh. To avoid availability issues in the future, some team may not buy him.
