Former Pakistan all-rounder, who made inappropriate comments on Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai, has apologized. Abdul Razzaq said that cricket was being discussed in the press conference and my tongue slipped. Aishwarya ji's name came out of my mouth. I apologize to him. Let me give you some more examples, but this is out.
What did Razzaq say?
Commenting on the disappointing performance of the Pakistan team in the World Cup-2023, Razzaq criticized the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and made an unnecessary comment by including Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai in his statement. Questioning the intentions of PCB, he dragged the actress into his criticism and said, if you think that marrying Aishwarya (Rai) will give birth to good and noble children, then it will never happen. Therefore, you have to set your intentions right first.
He made this shameful comment when Pakistan's media was asking him questions about the team's performance in the World Cup. Before making the derogatory comparison with the actress, Razzaq said, Younis Khan's intentions as a captain were good and he gave me the confidence to perform better. Here everyone is talking about the intentions of Pakistan team. We (PCB) do not intend to develop and groom players in Pakistan.

Razzaq's old teammates Shahid Afridi and Umar Gul, who were with him during the media briefing, did not stop or condemn the all-rounder's remarks but rather enjoyed the comments and clapped for him.
