Arab countries keep demanding, but why doesn't America want ceasefire in Gaza?

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken says that the ceasefire in Gaza will encourage the terrorist group Hamas to commit violence and regroup. Blinken described the attack on Israel on October 7 as the most terrible attack in Israel's history. Arab countries are continuously demanding ceasefire.

One month has passed since the war between Israel and Hamas, but there is no sign of a ceasefire. Both Israel and Hamas are launching rapid attacks on each other, in which thousands of people have died so far, while many people have been seriously injured. Meanwhile, Arab leaders have insisted on an immediate ceasefire.

In fact, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken reached Amman, the capital of the West Asian country Jordan, on Saturday, where he met the leaders of Arab countries. During this time, the leaders of Arab countries condemned the death of thousands of Palestinians in the war and called for stopping the war immediately. However, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said that the ceasefire would encourage the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas to commit violence. This will give him a chance to organize himself and stand up again. Along with this, he said that more than 1400 people had died in the attack on October 7. This was the worst attack ever in the history of Israel.

Arab countries condemned Israel

Meanwhile, Arab countries are continuously condemning Israel's tactics and trying to stop the war between Israel and Hamas. Egyptian diplomat Sameh Shoukry says that he cannot accept the collective punishment of Palestinians in Gaza as self-defense. He said that it is not a legitimate step for self-defense.

'Palestinians will decide the future of Gaza'

Along with this, Osama Hamdan, a Hamas official from Beirut, said that Biden should stop the aggression and should not put forward ideas that cannot be implemented. He said that the future of Gaza will be decided by the Palestinians, in such a situation the Arab countries should stop the American diplomat. It should be said that they cannot form an Arab coalition that is against the Palestinians.

'America supports Israel's right to self-defense'

Blinken, who reached Jordan, met Lebanon's acting Prime Minister Najib Mikati. Let us tell you that the terrorist group Hezbollah is based in Lebanon. According to the US State Department, Blinken expressed gratitude to Mikati's leadership for preventing Lebanon from being dragged into war. Along with this, Blinken also talked to Philip Lazarni, the head of the United Nations agency helping Palestinian refugees. During this, he said that the Biden administration supports Israel's right to self-defense.
