CBI will investigate Mahua Moitra case, BJP MP Nishikant Dubey had complained

On Wednesday, Lokpal approved CBI investigation against Mahua Moitra. BJP MP Nishikant Dubey has claimed that the CBI inquiry has been ordered on the basis of his complaint. Earlier this matter was being investigated by the Ethics Committee of the Parliament. Mahua Moitra was accused of taking bribe and asking questions in Parliament.

Now CBI will investigate the case of taking gifts and asking questions in Parliament. The Lokpal recommended this on Wednesday. BJP MP Nishikant Dubey has given this information on social media platform X. He told that on his own complaint, the Lokpal has ordered a CBI inquiry against TMC MP Mahua Moitra for playing with national security.

Mahua Moitra is accused of taking bribe and asking questions in Parliament. The Ethics Committee of Parliament is already investigating this matter on the complaint of BJP MP Nishikant Dubey. Nishikant Dubey alleges that Mahua Moitra has taken bribe from businessman Darshan Hiranandani to target PM Modi and Adani Group. The allegations against her are also that Mahua Moitra had shared the password of the confidential parliamentary login with a businessman. In this case, the businessman himself had issued an affidavit informing that he also had the password of the login ID of Mahua Moitra for asking questions in the Parliament.

Sukant Majumdar took aim

Earlier, West Bengal BJP President Sukant Majumdar had targeted TMC leader Mahua Moitra over the allegations of cash for query against her. Also warned that he should attend the Ethics Committee meeting without any drama. Sukant Majumdar also took a dig at West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee and said that all the corrupt members of TMC will have to go to jail.
