3.Ravindra Jadeja, 52 wickets (2013)

In 2013, Ravindra Jadeja took 52 wickets in 34 ODI matches and became the third highest wicket taker Indian bowler in a calendar year. He bowled 303.3 overs that year and gave runs at an economy rate of 4.35.

India won the Champions Trophy title in the same year and Ravindra Jadeja had an important contribution in it. Jadeja was the bowler who took the highest wickets in that tournament with 12 wickets and won the Golden Ball. In August of the same year, Ravindra Jadeja reached number one in the ODI bowling rankings. He became the fourth Indian bowler to achieve this feat.

2.Ajit Agarkar (58 wickets in 1998)

1.Anil Kumble (61 wickets in 1996)

In 1996, Anil Kumble took the most wickets in ODIs in a calendar year. He is the bowler who has taken the most ODI wickets in a calendar year for India. That year, Kumble played 32 matches and bowled 304 overs during that period.

Anil Kumble had spent 1235 runs while bowling 16 maidens and during this his economy rate was 4.06. Anil Kumble took the maximum of 15 wickets in the 1996 World Cup.
