3rd T20I: India won the match by 5 wickets on the strength of Saika and Shreyanka, England Women won the series 2-1

 


With the help of brilliant bowling by Saika Ishaque and Shreyanka Patil, Indian Women defeated England by 5 wickets in the last match of the three-match T20 International series. England won the series 2-1. In this third match, England won the toss and decided to bowl. 

Batting first, England Women's team fell to the score of 126 in 20 overs. The maximum 52 (42)* runs from the team came from the bat of captain Heather Knight. In this innings he hit 3 fours and 3 sixes. Amy Jones scored 25 (21). In this innings he hit 3 fours. Knight and Jones made a partnership of 41 (36). Charlotte Dean remained unbeaten after scoring 16 runs in 15 balls with the help of one four. Knight and Dean made a partnership of 50 (32). Saika Ishaq and Shreyanka Patil took maximum 3-3 wickets for Indian Women. Amanjot Kaur and Renuka Singh were successful in taking 2-2 wickets. 

Indian women's team, chasing the target, won the match by losing 5 wickets in 19 overs and scoring 127 runs. Smriti Mandhana scored the most runs for the team. He played an inning of 48 runs in 48 balls with the help of 5 fours and 2 sixes. Jemimah Rodrigues played an inning of 33 runs in 33 balls with the help of 4 fours. Both of them made a partnership of 57 (55) runs. Freya Kemp and Sophie Ecclestone got the maximum 2-2 wickets for England Women. Charlotte Dean took one wicket.
