After suffering a crushing defeat of 360 runs at the hands of Australia in the Perth Test, the Pakistan Cricket Team is currently busy preparing for the second Test. The Pakistan team and their fans have been waiting for a Test victory on Australian soil for the last several decades. Meanwhile, Iceland Cricket could not stop itself from taking a dig at Pakistan's embarrassment.
Iceland Cricket made a tweet on its Twitter handle on Sunday, December 17 and wrote,
We did some demographic analysis and 45.6% of our fans were not born when Pakistan last won a Test in Australia in 1995. This will increase to 45.8% if they do not win the Boxing Day Test.
Let us tell you that to better adapt to the Australian conditions, the Pakistan team will play a two-day practice match against Victoria XI on 22 and 23 December. Although it was not included in the program of this tour, the Pakistan team management had to take this decision after losing badly in the Perth Test.
In the first match of the series, Australia, playing first, scored 487 runs in its first innings with the help of a century by David Warner (164). In reply, Pakistan team was bundled out for 271 runs in its first innings. The hosts declared their second innings at 233/5. Pakistan had a target of 450 runs to win, but the entire team was limited to 89 runs.a
