A petition was filed in the Jabalpur High Court against Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, a famous story teller and head of Bageshwar Dham, not only in Madhya Pradesh but also in the country and abroad, regarding the controversial video and unrestrained comments going on social media. This petition was filed by his follower Ranjit Patel, resident of Narsinghpur Gotegaon. While hearing the petition, the single bench of Sanjay Dubey of the High Court directed Google, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and two other social media platforms to immediately remove the controversial video and issued a notice seeking reply within two weeks.

In fact, Ranjit Patel, a resident of Gotegaon in Narsinghpur district and a follower of Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, had filed a petition in the Jabalpur High Court alleging that the social media was propagating videos against Bageshwar Dham chief Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri without checking it. The petition alleged that the contents of the controversial remarks of RD Prajapati, former MLA from Chandla Assembly seat of Madhya Pradesh, are going viral on video social media, whereas as per the rules, no video should be publicized on social media without checking it. .

Instructions to remove controversial video from social media platform

Their faith is being hurt by such videos, because even according to the scriptures, Guru has been given the status of God and wrong contents are being spread against their Guru on social media. Taking seriously the issues raised in the petition, the Jabalpur High Court has directed all social media platforms and Facebook, Twitter to remove the controversial video against Bageshwar Dham Peethadhishwar Acharya Dhirendra Shastri and has issued a notice seeking answers.

Actually, former BJP MLA RD Prajapati had attended a program of OBC Mahasabha. Addressing the gathering in the program, RD Prajapati said that I challenge Baba Dhirendra Shastri to show me my ghost. While challenging him, he had said that if Baba was fed milk by his mother, then he should take away my ghost and show that I am possessed by a ghost. After this the matter heated up.
