Bajaj has launched a new electric scooter 'Bajaj Chetak Urbane' in the Indian market. This is the latest model of the company's famous Chetak electric scooter. In this you will get increased range and there is not much change in the price also. The electric two-wheeler has launched the new electric scooter in the market with two variants – Standard and Tecpac. Its base model will be close to the premium version. The company has introduced it with many upgrades, but it will also have to compromise on some things.
The biggest update in the new model of Bajaj Chetak is its range. On a single charge it will give more range than the current model. Changes have also been made in braking. Bajaj Chetak Urbane: Battery and range
The new model of Chetak has the power of 2.88 kWh battery pack. Chetak Premium also has a battery pack of similar capacity. However, the new Bajaj Chetak has more range. It can cover a distance of 113 kilometers on full charge. On the other hand, the range of the premium version on a single charge is 108 kilometers.
Bajaj Chetak Urbane: Top Speed
Both the variants of Chetak Urban will take 4 hours 50 minutes to be fully charged. The top speed of Chetak Urban is 73 kilometers per hour, while the premium version can reach a speed of 63 kilometers per hour. The new scooter is also ahead in terms of top speed. The standard variant has only eco riding mode, and its app connectivity is also limited.
Bajaj Chetak Urbane: Price
Talking about the price, the effective ex-showroom price of Chetak Urbane Standard is Rs 1,15,001. Whereas, for Tecpac variant you will have to spend Rs 1,12,001 (effective ex-showroom price). The effective ex-showroom price of the already running premium version of Bajaj Chetak is Rs 1,15,000.
