Talking about the South African team, Dean Elgar and captain Temba Bavuma will start the innings. Elgar would like him to perform well in this series because after this he will retire. Batsmen like Aiden Markram, Keegan Pietersen, Tony DeGeorge and Kyle Verreynne are the team who are expected to perform well. The responsibility of bowling will be on Keshav Maharaj, Marco Jansen, Kagiso Rabada, Gerald Coetzee and Lungi Ngidi. It was doubtful whether South African fast bowlers Kagiso Rabada and Lungi Ngidi would play in the first Test against India. However, both the speedsters have started training in the nets and are likely to feature in the upcoming match.
