Talking about Maharaj's Test career, he has played 45 matches and dismissed 154 batsmen at an average of 30.61. During this period, he has taken 5 wicket haul 9 times and 10 wicket haul once.

Apart from this, while representing South Africa in 26 ODI matches, he has shown the way to the pavilion to 28 batsmen with the help of an average of 36.54 and economy rate of 4.73.
