'My father wanted someone from the house...' Indian female cricketer said a big thing

Indian women's cricket team has performed amazingly recently. First, the Indian team defeated the England women's cricket team in a test match. After this, the Australian team was also not spared and defeated them too. Team vice-captain and star opener Smriti Mandhana played an important role in India's victory. Now after this victory, Smriti told how she came into cricket and made her future in it.

Recently, Smriti Mandhana, who appeared with Indian team batsman Ishan Kishan in the most favorite TV show of Indian audience, Kaun Banega Crorepati, told an interesting story about the beginning of her cricket career.

Describing her cricket journey on this show, Smriti said, 'My father and my brothers were cricketers since childhood. My father did not get permission from home to make a career in cricket. That's why he wanted both my children to play cricket and one of them should represent the country. I have heard about cricket since childhood, probably since the time I was in my mother's womb.

Smriti Mandhana did not stop here and she further said, 'I always used to go for practice, where I used to bring the ball for my brother. I learned batting by watching my brother. When he was batting in the nets, I used to do the same by looking behind the nets. I am right handed but my brother is a left handed batsman, so I learned to bat with my left hand. This is how my cricket journey began.

Let us tell you that Smriti Mandhana is considered one of the best female opening batsmen in world cricket. Apart from international cricket, Smriti is also the captain of RCB in the Women's Premier League.
