Praveen Kumar jumps into Gambhir-Sreesanth controversy, says, 'A few bullets have been fired'

The ruckus that broke out between Shanthakumaran Sreesanth and Gautam Gambhir during the Legends League match between Gujarat Giants and India Capitals does not seem to be calming down at the moment. Now the reaction of former Indian cricketer Praveen Kumar on this entire matter has also come to light. Praveen Kumar believes that fans and social media have blown this controversy out of proportion unnecessarily.

Praveen Kumar, who played 68 ODIs and six Tests for India, urged everyone not to take the issue further and insisted that such incidents are part of the game. Not only this, Praveen Kumar in his blunt manner said that there was no enmity between the two and neither were any bullets fired due to which so much ruckus is being created.

While talking to a media channel, Praveen Kumar said, "This is a part of the game, there is no need to make publicity about such incidents. It should remain only on the field and should not be taken beyond that. People It has created an uproar on social media without any reason. But if you see both of them (Gambhir and Sreesanth), they will forget it after a few days. Everything becomes fine as soon as the players come out. It happens on the ground. Jaati tu tu main main but there is no enmity between the two, only a few bullets have been fired. Social media should not present this in an exaggerated manner.

Let us tell you that during the Legends League match, there was a lot of altercation between the two and seeing the verbal war between the two, the umpires intervened and came to the rescue. This incident of altercation between Gambhir and Sreesanth was seen in the second over of the match when Gambhir hit consecutive fours and sixes on Sreesanth's balls. After this, Sreesanth was successful in bowling the next ball dot but he was seen sledging Gambhir. Sreesanth has accused Gambhir of calling him a fixer in the live match.
