Preparations to create history in space again, this is ISRO's complete plan till Mission 2025

Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) created history of success this year through Chandrayaan-3. With this mission, India became the first and only country to make a soft landing on the south pole of the Moon. After Chandrayaan-3, successful testing of Aditya L-1 and then Gaganyaan flight raised the flag. Now ISRO is again moving towards creating history.

Information about which missions ISRO will launch in the next two years has been revealed. During the Question Hour of the winter session of Parliament, the government has given information about ISRO's space mission to be launched in the next two years. Science and Technology Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh told which missions ISRO is planning to send in 2024 and 2025. In this, NISAR and Gaganyaan mission are being discussed the most.

Gaganyaan: Humans will reach space, initial testing successful

Three people are to be sent into space in the Gaganyaan mission. This will be India's first human mission. In this mission, the spacecraft will be placed in an orbit 400 kilometers away from the Earth. This mission will be 3 days long. After spending 3 days in space, all the astronauts will be brought back to Earth by landing safely in the ocean. Work on this mission is going on at a fast pace.

The first test flight (TV-D1) of the Gaganyaan mission was launched in October. Its purpose was to test the crew module. Through this test of Gaganyaan, it was tested that even if something goes wrong during space travel, the astronauts will remain safe.

Gaganyaan mission aims to send Indians to space in 2025. Minister Jitendra Singh told in the Lok Sabha that in the coming time, test flights have been planned under the Gaganyaan programme.

Nisar: NASA and ISRO join hands for Indian mission

ISRO's upcoming space missions also include NISAR i.e. Synthetic Aperture Radar Mission . ISRO is doing this mission in collaboration with America's space agency NASA. The goal of this mission is from designing to launching a dual frequency radar imaging satellite. According to NASA, the data obtained from this will provide information to scientists to better understand the effects of climate change.

NISAR is being developed in three different phases. With NISAR, mapping of the entire earth can be done in 12 days. This satellite is expected to be launched from Satish Dhawan Space Center in January 2024.

Preparation for these missions

Apart from NISAR and Gaganyaan, ISRO is working on many other missions. Minister Jitendra Singh said that ISRO has planned to launch these missions in the next two years - INSAT-3DS, RISAT-1B, Resourcesat-3, TDS01, SPADEX, Oceansat-3A, IDRSS, GSAT-20 and NVS- 02. All these missions will be led by the Indian Space Agency ISRO.

Jitendra Singh further said that the impact of the reforms made in the space sector can be seen. The number of space start-ups has increased from 1 in 2014 to more than 200 in 2023. An investment of $ 124.7 million has also been made in these Indian space start-ups .
