T10 League 2023: New York Strikers defeated Delhi Bulls by 67 runs on the basis of excellent performance by the bowlers.

 



In the 18th match of T10 League 2023, New York Strikers defeated Delhi Bulls by 67 runs on the basis of excellent performance by the bowlers. No one would have expected that table toppers Delhi would perform so poorly with the bat. New York's bowling was so excellent that only one Delhi batsman could touch double figures. Delhi has made the lowest score (31) so far in this tournament. Apart from the bowlers, Rahmanullah Gurbaz performed well with the bat for New York. 

Batting first, New York Strikers scored 98 runs losing 4 wickets in 10 overs. Rahmanullah Gurbaz scored the most runs for the team. He played an unbeaten inning of 49 runs in 24 balls with the help of 2 fours and 5 sixes. Whereas Odion Smith scored unbeaten 25 runs in 15 balls with the help of one four and 2 sixes. Gurbaz and Smith made a partnership of 63* (27). Wasim Akram took maximum 2 wickets for Delhi Bulls. Naveen-ul-Haq and Dwayne Bravo took one wicket each. 

Chasing the target, the entire team of Delhi Bulls collapsed on the score of 31 in 9.3 overs. Ravi Bopara scored the most runs for Delhi Bulls. He scored 16 runs in 16 balls with the help of 2 fours. Chamika Karunaratne and Akeal Hosein got the maximum 3-3 from New York side. Hammad Javadullah, Sunil Narine and Odion Smith were successful in taking one wicket each.
