Australia Cricket Team's legendary batsman David Warner is fully prepared for his last Test series. After the 3-Test series against Pakistan, David Warner will say goodbye to this longer format of cricket but a big question will again arise for Australia. Which batsman will replace Warner who can open the batting in Test cricket? In this context, former Australian captain Steve Waugh has put forward a tremendous option in the form of Cameron Green.

Although Marcus Harris, Cameron Bancroft and Matt Renshaw are also being considered in place of David Warner, Steve Waugh has maintained his faith in Cameron Green. He said in this context, 'You have many great options but I am seriously looking at Cameron Green as an opening batsman. I want to see him playing in the team because he offers a lot to the team. His arrival brings balance to the team because he can bowl 10-15 overs and he is also a good fielder. He has not performed like that in batting yet but his technique is excellent, especially he plays fast bowlers well.

Steve Waugh further said that he has batted at number 6 so far and it is during number 6 that the second new ball comes into play. Therefore he will be a good option like Shane Watson. That's why I want to see him batting openingly. At present, Mitchell Marsh has occupied the number 6 position, so he should be made to open the batting if possible.
