India defeated South Africa by 78 runs in the last match of the three-match ODI series and won the series 2-1. This is the second time in history that India has defeated South Africa in an ODI series on its own soil. Sanju Samson's role was very important in India's series victory. By scoring his first ODI century (108) in this match, Sanju not only laid the foundation of India's victory but also gave a message to the world that he fully deserves to play at this level. 

Sanju Samson made his international debut in the T20 match against Zimbabwe in 2015 but interestingly, Sanju had to wait for eight years for his first international century, which ended in the ODI match against South Africa on Thursday. . He scored 108 runs in 114 balls, which included three sixes and six fours. After this century of Sanju, now the question arises whether this century will be able to change his fate?

If we talk about talent, we all know how much talent he has. Looking at the kind of innings he has played in the IPL, not just us, everyone talks about him. But today through this innings it can be said that somewhere he has started his international career. Even before this, Sanju was given opportunities but he never got those opportunities continuously. Sometimes he was played in one match and was thrown out without any reason in the next match, but the truth is that he could not even score consecutive runs before this century. Just imagine, if he had scored this first century not after 8 years but in the initial days of his career, then perhaps Sanju would have been a big player today and he would have been given continuous opportunities because when you score 100 runs, you not only impress the selectors.
