25000 died in Gaza in 3 months…how many more will be killed in Israel-Hamas war

In the last three months, more than 25,000 people have died in the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas. The process of war and attack is still going on. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed to continue the offensive until Hamas is destroyed and all hostages are returned to Israel.

More than 25,000 people have lost their lives in the war that has been going on between Israel and Hamas for more than three months. According to Gaza's Health Ministry, the death toll has exceeded 25 thousand. Health Ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qidra says that at least 178 people have died and 293 have been seriously injured in the war between Israel and Hamas in the last 24 hours. Most of the victims in this war include women and children. Let us tell you that the war started in October, when Hamas suddenly attacked Israel. About 1200 people were killed. Hamas had taken about 250 Israeli men, women and children hostage.

According to the report, Israeli army's attack in Gaza continues. Israeli forces attacked Gaza's Al-Nasser hospital with heavy shelling and snipers in Gaza, Israeli soldiers captured high-rise buildings and shot people in the street.

Israel has conducted an air campaign for the last three weeks. This campaign is being run by Hamas in response to the attack. Along with this, a ground attack was carried out on northern Gaza. Israeli troops attacked the refugee camps built in the southern city of Khan Younis and central Gaza.

85 percent people fled their homes in Gaza

The situation in Gaza has forced about 85 percent of its population to flee their homes, with hundreds of thousands taking refuge in UN-run shelters and tent camps in the southern part of the coastal zone. UN officials said that due to the ongoing fighting and Israeli sanctions, very little humanitarian aid is reaching the war-torn region, leaving a quarter of the population at risk of starvation.

Giving actual figures of deaths due to heavy shelling and targeted killings by the Israeli army, the Gaza Health Ministry said that since October 7, 25,105 Palestinians have been killed, while 62,681 others have been injured. Al-Qidra noted that many casualties were still buried under debris or in areas inaccessible to medics due to Israeli attacks.

On the other hand, the Israeli military claims to have killed approximately 9,000 militants and blames Hamas's choice to fight in densely populated residential areas as the reason for the high civilian casualties. The army also said that 195 soldiers have been killed since the beginning of the offensive operation.

Israeli Prime Minister vowed to eliminate Hamas

Earlier, when asked about the objective of the operation in Gaza, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to continue the offensive until Hamas is eliminated and all hostages are returned to Israel. Although about half the detainees have been released during a week-long ceasefire in November, Israel says about 130 people are in captivity, but only about 100 are believed to still be alive.

People in Israel are continuously organizing protests outside Netanyahu's house and other places demanding the immediate release of the hostages and the protesters are calling for an end to the war.
