Sonu Sood wrote, “My film Fateh is based on the real story related to deep fake and fake people apps. This is a new incident, where someone pretending to be Sonu Sood tried to extort money from an unknown family through video call. Many innocent people get trapped in this trap. I request everyone to be cautious if you get such a phone call.”
In the video, the deep fake person like Sonu Sood is seen talking to a family through video call and saying that he could not help them because he was busy. The family which had taken a loan to get their treatment done, wants to repay that loan and wants to help. While sharing this video, Sonu Sood said that do not fall into this trap and be careful. An attempt is being made to extort money in this way.
