Preparations for consecration are going on in full swing in Ayodhya Ram temple. On the other hand, all the sectors are also very excited to capitalize on this opportunity. Especially the hospitality, travel and tourism sectors are going to get a big boost. After the inauguration of Ram temple on January 22, the estimated influx of tourists to Ayodhya will be in lakhs. To meet their demand, more than 20,000 jobs are likely to be generated in these three industries. Staffing companies expect that the number of these jobs will increase in the coming months. Companies say that the buzz of Ayodhya Ram temple is going to be at its peak for the next two to three decades.
20 to 25 thousand jobs will be generated
Yashab Giri, Chief Commercial Officer, Staffing and Randstad Technologies, Randstad India, said Ayodhya is poised to transform into a global tourism center with an estimated 3-4 lakh daily visitors in the next few years. The increase in tourist inflow has already increased demand for accommodation and travel, he said, leading to “significant growth in the hospitality sector of Ayodhya, with special focus on creating adequate infra to host travelers . Randstad expects 20,000-25,000 permanent and temporary jobs to be created, with the number increasing every year. The most in-demand jobs include hotel staff, housekeeping, front-desk manager, chef and multilingual tour guide etc.
Thousands of jobs will be generated

Picture will be clear in 4 months
An industry executive, on the condition of anonymity, said that in the next three-four months, we should get a clear picture of the daily traffic in the temple and the demand for manpower to serve the devotees. According to estimates, Tirupati Balaji temple, which is one of the richest temples in the world and is crowded throughout the year, sees an average of 50,000 devotees daily and the number reaches 100,000 on festival days or holidays. According to various estimates, 300,000 to 700,000 people are likely to visit Ayodhya in the first week after the inauguration of the Ram temple.
More pan power will be required
Experts said if 2-3 lakh people visit the Ayodhya temple every day in the coming years, as estimated, it would mean more manpower would be needed to cater to the accommodation, logistics and food of the devotees. Will happen. Balasubramanian said the typical ratio of manpower demand in the hospitality industry is between 1-2 employees for every 100 customers, which means more jobs can be generated during the year. However, most of these jobs are temporary in nature and the number may go up or down depending on how the demand grows and the number of devotees visiting the temple.
Demand for manpower will increase in two years
Nandivardhan Jain, chief executive of Noesis Capital Advisors, said, generally, it takes about 3-4 years for a hotel to move from the construction phase to operational. However, in the case of Ayodhya, various permissions can be fast-tracked and hence, the demand for manpower is expected to increase within the next 18 to 24 months. Hotel companies are seeing what the demand-supply situation is like. At present, there is very little supply in Ayodhya from only two big, branded hotels – Radisson's Park Inn and Signet.
Hotel companies in wait and watch mode
