Congress team is on Ayodhya tour
Uttar Pradesh Congress leaders are on Ayodhya tour these days. An entire Congress delegation has reached Ayodhya along with state president Ajay Rai and party's UP in-charge Avinash Pandey. On Monday, this Congress party first took a dip in Saryu and then went to Hanumangarhi and offered prayers. After this, Congress leaders also came to see Ramlala. It is believed that all this was done by Congress for damage control. In fact, recently Congress leaders had rejected the invitation for the consecration of Shri Ram Temple.
Congress had received the invitation for Pran Pratistha
Former Congress president Sonia Gandhi, current president Mallikarjun Kharge and party leader in Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Choudhary had received invitation for the consecration ceremony to be held in Ayodhya. After 25 days, Congress rejected it and called it a political program of BJP and asked to distance itself from it. After this, for damage control, even before the consecration, Congress made a program to visit Ayodhya and a group of UP Congress leaders had come to visit Ayodhya.
