Ingredients for Homemade Peanut Butter

If you want to make peanut butter at home, then for this you will need peanuts, a little black salt, honey or jaggery to give sweet flavor. One spoon desi ghee (optional).

First step to make pitan butter

First of all, put the peanuts in a thick bottom pan and fry them well, keep in mind that during this time you do not have to use ghee or oil. When the peanuts start smelling and the rawness goes away, take them out of the pan and separate their peels.

Do these things for crunchy taste in peanut butter

If you want crunchy taste in peanut butter, then first put the peanuts in the mixer and run it on pulse mode so that it is not ground completely. Now take out two to two and a half spoons of peanuts and keep them aside and later mix it in the peanut paste.

Grind peanuts till smooth paste.

Now grind the peanuts well so that it gets a smooth texture. When the peanuts start releasing oil during grinding and become like a paste, add a little black salt as per taste.

Final Step of Peanut Butter

If you want a little sweet flavor in peanut butter, you can add honey or jaggery as per taste. If you feel that the peanut butter is a little dry, then add one spoon of home-made desi ghee to it and mix it again in the mixer. In this way, peanut butter will be ready at home in a short time, which you can store in an airtight glass jar. This peanut butter does not spoil for months.
