England is reaching India just three days before this Test series and before this Test series, former England spinner Graeme Swann has given an advice to England. Swann has said that Virat Kohli should not sledge at all during the Test series. Swann has revealed some unheard stories about the 2012 India tour and while there he also talked about Virat. This was the same series which the visiting team had won 2-1.
Despite losing the first match, England made a brilliant comeback and won the next two matches and won the series. The fourth match of the series ended in a draw, where Virat Kohli and captain MS Dhoni scored 103 and 99 runs respectively. Speaking about Kohli, Swann revealed that England players were advised not to argue with the Delhi batsman. He also told how after an argument between the two, Kohli brutally scored runs on the bowling of Steve Finn.
During the Sky Sports Cricket Podcast, Swann said, “We were told beforehand that this guy (Virat Kohli) does not have anything to say. He hit some incredible fours off the bowling of Steven Finn after an argument with him and then he lost his plot. Finn immediately realized his mistake and then held the line. Virat started roaring like a tiger and hit Finn everywhere. So don't say anything to Virat Kohli, he enjoys fighting on the field very much."
