Who is Dr. Mehrang Baloch?

Mehrang, a doctor by profession, was born in the year 1993 in a Baloch Muslim family. He has 5 sisters and one brother. His family is a resident of Kalat, Balochistan. Father Abdul Ghaffar Baloch was a leftist political activist. These people lived in Quetta.

In 2009, Mehrang Baloch's father Abdul Ghaffar was kidnapped by Pakistani officials while going to the hospital. At that time Mehrang was only 16 years old.
