The problems of former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi have increased in the land for job issue in Railways. Taking cognizance of the charge sheet of the Enforcement Directorate, Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court has issued summons against former Chief Minister Rabri Devi, Misa Bharti, Hema Yadav, Hridayanand Chaudhary, Amit Katyal and two companies. The court has called him for appearance on 9th February. This summon has been issued by the court to Rabri Devi and others at a time when there is political turmoil in Bihar.
The Enforcement Directorate had recently filed a charge sheet while investigating allegations of money laundering in this alleged scam. In the charge sheet, ED has named Rawadi Devi, Misa Bharti, Hema Yadav, Hridayanand Chaudhary as well as two companies as accused. ED has filed a 4751 page charge sheet in this case.
Production warrant against businessman Amit Katyal
The court has also issued a production warrant against businessman Amit Katyal. Katyal is currently in judicial custody in this case. While hearing the ED's chargesheet, Special Judge Vishal Gogane of Rouse Avenue Court, while passing the order, said, there are sufficient grounds to take cognizance.
The matter is 14 years old
Actually, this matter is 14 years old. The allegation in this case is that Lalu Prasad Yadav, when he was the then Railway Minister, had taken land in exchange for a job in the Railways. When there was UPA government in the country, Lalu Prasad Yadav was the Railway Minister from 2004 to 2009. CBI had registered a case regarding the allegations on 18 May 2022.
Was initially recruited as a substitute
According to the case registered by CBI, he was first recruited as a substitute for Group D posts in Railways and then after getting the land transferred from him, his job was confirmed. On the basis of the case registered by CBI. The Enforcement Directorate had registered a case of money laundering and started investigation and filed a charge sheet.
