France and Qatar have signed an agreement with Israel-Hamas amid the war. It allowed the delivery of medicines to approximately 45 Israeli hostages in Gaza in exchange for humanitarian aid to civilians in the Palestinian territory.

The purpose of the agreement with Israel and Palestinian terrorist group Hamas is to provide humanitarian and medical aid to the citizens of both the countries trapped in the war zone. Both countries said the aid would leave Qatar for Egypt today before being taken across the border.

how much or what help

Qatar's Foreign Ministry spokesman Majid al-Ansari said in a statement that the agreement will provide medicines, along with other humanitarian aid, to civilians in the most affected and vulnerable areas in the Gaza Strip. In return, necessary medicines will also be supplied to Israeli prisoners in Gaza. He did not give information about how much or what assistance would be provided to the citizens.

Specialized medical packages, which were put together in France over several months, would be distributed to each of the 45 hostages. The International Committee of the Red Cross will coordinate on the ground. Lalliot said three French citizens were still being held in Gaza, but none of them were in immediate need of medicine.
