2024 has started. Earlier in the last year, people might have taken many New Year resolutions to stay fit. But not everyone is able to complete it, people keep postponing it till tomorrow. Many of you may have taken New Year resolutions like exercising for this year's fitness goal. But due to lack of time or not being able to go to the gym, you may not be able to complete it. In such a situation, you can start yoga by taking out some time at home.
Doing yoga has many benefits for the body. This makes the body flexible and protects us from many diseases. Therefore, yoga expert Sugandha Goyal has told us some easy yoga asanas which we can easily do at home.
Tiryaka Tadasana
Start this easy. To do this asana, keep a little gap between your two legs and stand straight. Then after this, join the fingers of both your hands, after this take your hands towards the top of the head. Keep your body straight and try to stand on your toes. After this, bend the body towards right and left. After remaining in this position for a few seconds, come back to normal position.
Padahastasana
To do this, first spread a yoga mat and stand straight on it. After this, slowly move your hands above the head, while exhaling, bend downwards from the waist. Keep one thing in mind that the upper part of your body should be straight. Then try to touch your feet with both your hands. This asana provides strength to your back.
Hastottasana
By doing this asana, there is a stretch in the arms, shoulders, upper back, chest and neck. This stretch helps in strengthening it. For this, first join both your hands and stand straight. Bring both hands up to the chest. Taking a deep breath, move both your hands above your head. The difference between the two hands should be equal to the width of the shoulders. Now make a slight curve of your upper body backwards. Then raise the hands and bend the body backwards. Remain in this posture for 10 seconds. Keep one thing in mind that do these yoga asanas only after having correct knowledge about correct posture and asana.
