Ram Lalla Temple First Day Donation: With the consecration of Ram Lalla's life at the Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya on January 22, the record of donations in one day has been broken for all the temples in the country. When compared with the daily average of the amount of offerings and donations made throughout the year in the richest temples across the country, it is found that along with Pran Pratishtha, the amount dedicated at the feet of Ramlala is the highest.

Celebrities from all over the country who came to Pran Pratistha offered such huge amount at the feet of Ramlala, due to which a new record was created. When compared with the daily average of the amount of offerings and donations made throughout the year in the richest temples across the country, it is found that along with Pran Pratishtha, the amount dedicated at the feet of Ramlala is the highest.
Veterans from across the country were invited to the consecration ceremony of Ramlala held in Ayodhya. These include famous stars of the country, big saints, storytellers, film stars and celebrities from other fields.
How much was offered?
Celebrities from all over the country who reached the occasion of Pran Pratistha donated generously for the new temple of Shri Ram. When Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust added this amount, the figure of donations received on January 22 reached Rs 3 crore 17 lakh. However, this amount does not include the amount sent online directly by Ram devotees to the account of the pilgrimage area.
Common devotees also donated a lot
However, on January 22, the darshan of Ramlala was closed for the common people in Ayodhya. The next day on January 23, as soon as the darshan started, there was an outpouring of faith and the common devotees who had darshan also offered their hearts full at the feet of Ramlala. Although the focus of the Teerth Kshetra Trust remained on controlling the crowd of devotees throughout the day, yet an amount of Rs 10 lakh was offered at the feet of Ram Lalla on this day also. This also does not include online payment by Ram devotees and the amount deposited in the account.
There is no dearth of donors for the temple
Actually, with the laying of the foundation stone of Ram temple, the devotees had started the process of donations. When the construction of the temple started, an amount of up to lakhs of rupees started being deposited in the office of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra every day. The data of amount sent online is also not included in this.
Padmanabha Swamy Temple

Talking about other big temples of the country, the temple of Padmanabha Swamy located in Trivandrum, Kerala is considered to be the richest. If media reports are to be believed, property worth 20 billion dollars is kept in the safes of the temple itself. The value of the golden idol of God installed here has also been estimated at Rs 500 crore, while about Rs 500 crore comes here annually in the form of donations and offerings. Its daily average is more than Rs 1.36 crore. The Shrine Board also receives Rs 500 crore in donations and offerings every year for Mata Vaishno Devi Temple.
Devotees offer this much amount in the court of Shirdi Sai Baba
Tirupati Balaji Temple has only 10.3 tonnes of gold worth about Rs 5,300 crore. An amount of Rs 15,938 crore is deposited in banks in different currencies. This temple receives around Rs 600 crore every year in the form of donations and offerings, the average of which is more than Rs 1.64 crore.
At the same time, devotees also donate openly in the temple of Sai Baba in Shirdi. Along with about 380 kg of gold and 4,428 kg of silver, an amount of more than Rs 1,800 crore is deposited in the bank accounts of this temple. As far as annual donations are concerned, Shirdi Sai Temple receives around Rs 630 crore every year in the form of offerings and donations. Its average is second only to the offerings received in a day in Ram temple. This amount amounts to more than Rs 1.72 crore.
