Three women from Imran Khan's party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) are contesting elections from jail. All three have contested the elections against the Sharif family.

1. Yasmin Rashid vs Nawaz Sharif
Imran's party leader Dr Yasmin Rashid has contested against Nawaz Sharif from Lahore National Assembly-130 constituency. A tough competition is expected between the two. The constituency has been a PML-N stronghold since 1990, when Nawaz Sharif won the seat for the first time. Sharif retained the seat in 1993, 1997 and 2013, while his party's candidates won the seat in 2002 and 2008. Dr. Yasmin Rashid was a contender from this seat thrice from 2013 to 2023, every time she had to face defeat.
2. Alia Hamza Malik vs Hamza Sharif
PML-N leader Hamza Shehbaz is considered the strongest candidate in National Assembly-118. But this time a tough competition is expected from PTI's Aliya Hamza Malik. However, in the 2018 general elections, this seat went to PML-N. Hamza Shahbaz had easily won this seat against PTI's Nauman Qaiser and TLP's Sumaira Naureen. Let us tell you that in 2018, Alia was elected to the National Assembly of Pakistan as a PTI candidate on the seat reserved for women from Punjab. The then Prime Minister Imran Khan also appointed him as Federal Parliamentary Secretary.
3. Sanam Javed vs Maryam Nawaz
Jailed PTI woman activist Sanam Javed will contest from National Assembly-119 against Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz chief Maryam Nawaz. A tough competition is expected between the two. Let us tell you that Sanam Javed and more than a dozen women of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Party are lodged in different jails for the last five months due to the incidents of May 9.
