After this, DGCA issued a 'show cause' notice to Air India. DGCA has imposed a fine of Rs 1.10 crore on Air India after not receiving a satisfactory reply from the company.

There was a complaint last year

A former B777 pilot had informed the Civil Aviation Ministry and DGCA about the flouting of rules in October last year. This complaint was for B777 aircraft leased by Air India. He said that the airline travels long distances in these planes without the necessary system of emergency oxygen supply.

The B777 aircraft leased by Air India have a chemical oxygen generation system, but this lasts for about 12 minutes, and hence is not used on the airline's direct flights to and from San Francisco. should be done.

Recently, a fine of Rs 1.20 crore has also been imposed on the country's largest airline Indigo. The passengers of a company flight had come to the runway and started eating food there. Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia had also expressed strong displeasure over this development. He called it intolerable under any circumstances.

Still covered in fog

Due to improvement in the weather, flight operations have become smooth at Delhi and other airports in North India. But early morning flights are still facing the problem of fog, due to which the planes are getting delayed.
