In 1956, Bhopal, Central India and Vindhya Pradesh were merged and Madhya Pradesh was formed by removing the Marathi districts of Maharashtra. After that, Bhopal, the city of lakes, came to be recognized as the capital of Madhya Pradesh.

Kanhaiya took education from Guru Sandipani along with his brother Balram and friend Sudama in Ujjain, the city of Baba Mahakal. Even today, there is a statue of Shri Krishna studying in his childhood incarnation, along with this there is also a pond where he used to wash his bandage.
