Pneumonia wreaks havoc in Pakistan…so many children have died in January so far

The situation is that so far at least 244 people have died due to pneumonia in the month of January. Seven more youth died in Punjab in the last 24 hours. According to the Punjab Health Department, 942 new cases of pneumonia have been registered in the entire Punjab province in 24 hours, of which 212 new cases have been confirmed in Lahore.

The children were malnourished due to which they were very weak and did not have the ability to fight the virus. Seeing the seriousness of the situation, the government has come on full alert mode. The government has banned morning assemblies in schools across the entire Punjab province till January 31.
