According to the National Bureau Statistics (NBS), the birth rate in China was 6.67% in the year 2022, which will come down to 5.7% in the year 2023. This means that in China, 6.67 children were born per thousand people in the year 2022, which will increase to 6.39 in 2023. There has been a decrease of 27 lakh 5 thousand people in the year 2023, due to which the total population of China has increased from 1.4118 billion to 1.409 billion.
