On the eve of Republic Day, President Draupadi Murmu, in his address to the nation, said that our country is passing through a period of revolutionary change. We have got a golden opportunity to take our country to greater heights. I would request every citizen to join us in achieving our goals, India will be a developed nation after completion of 100 years of independence.

I pay tribute to him.
Pran Pratistha is an epoch-making event in Ayodhya.
Inspired by the basic spirit of our Republic, 140 crore people live as one family, the feeling of co-existence is not a burden but a natural source of collective joy, which is expressed in the celebration of our Republic Day. Recently we saw the historic ceremony of consecration of Ram Lalla in the grand Ram temple built at the birth place of Lord Shri Ram in Ayodhya. In the future, historians will analyze this as an epochal event in the continuous search of our civilizational heritage. The order for the construction of the temple was given after proper judicial process and the decision of the Supreme Court of the country. Now it stands as a grand structure which expresses the faith of the people. At the same time, this is also a proof of the immense faith of Indians in the justice system.
India successfully hosted G20
Our national festivals are important occasions when we look back at the past and also look towards the future. If we look at the past one year after the last Republic Day, we feel very happy. India successfully hosted G20. The participation of common people in the events related to this was remarkable. This grand event taught us that even ordinary citizens can be made participants in such international and important issues. This also impacts their future.
India the emerging voice of the Global South
The G20 Summit has promoted India's emergence as a voice of the Global South, providing an essential element in the process of international dialogue. When the historic Women's Reservation Bill was passed in the Parliament, our country moved forward on the ideals of equality between men and women. Nari Shakti Vandan Act will help in improving the processes of our governance. If women's participation increases on issues of collective importance, there will be better harmony with the people.
Appreciation of Chandrayaan-3
India became the first country to land on the South Pole of the Moon, after Chandrayaan-3, ISRO launched the solar mission Aditya L-1, after this India started the new year with Exposet. This will solve many mysteries like the black hole of space. It is a matter of happiness that India is continuously progressing in the field of space. India's first manned space mission is also progressing smoothly. We have had faith in our scientists and technology, but now they are moving forward. The objective of India's space program is the welfare of humanity. The enthusiasm that the countrymen have towards ISRO's programs instills new hopes.
Public welfare campaigns are being promoted
Our country's GDP is growing, our extraordinary performance will continue in 2024 also. It is noteworthy that as part of the long-term planning approach to boost the economy, public welfare campaigns are being promoted to make development inclusive. During the pandemic, many schemes were started to provide food grains to the weaker sections, these have been continued till now. This will continue for the next five years. This is the biggest public welfare work of its kind in history. Good work was done regarding the basic facilities of having one's own house and adequate drinking water. These issues are beyond political and economic ideology, they should be seen from human perspective. National Education Policy, Ayushman Bharat Scheme were also mentioned. The President said that our players have also brought glory to the country. We created a new history of winning medals in the Asian Games. It is noteworthy that women are making a big contribution in this.
We are hurt by the ongoing conflicts in the world.
Wars are taking place at many places in the world. Many parts of the world are suffering from violence. In two countries, when one believes that his point of view is right and the other's point of view is wrong. Unfortunately, instead of logic, mutual fear and prejudice have given rise to passion, resulting in continuous violence. There have been many tragic incidents of large-scale human tragedies. We are all hurt by this human suffering. We hope that ways will be found to resolve these issues. The President also mentioned the work being done by India in the field of environment.
