Rahul Gandhi has come to Bihar as part of his visit at a time when former Congress ally and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has again gone back to the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA). This was his first visit to Bihar since campaigning in the assembly elections in 2020.
Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra led by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi entered Araria district of Bihar from Islampur in West Bengal late on Monday evening. Here Rahul Gandhi offered prayers at the famous Khadgeshwari Kali temple located in Araria and took blessings from priest Nanu Da. During this, Congress leaders said that a large number of people took part in the padyatra in Araria. People of Bihar are welcoming the Yatra with great enthusiasm. Like Assam and Bengal, the Yatra is getting tremendous response in Bihar too.
During the Nyaya Yatra, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Monday alleged that the ideology of RSS and BJP is spreading violence and hatred in the country. Addressing a public rally under the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, Rahul Gandhi said that people of different religions and castes are fighting among themselves during the BJP-led NDA rule at the Centre.

Rally in Purnia today
