ED has called Rohit Pawar for questioning in the Baramati Agro Company case. It has been said in the summons that Rohit Pawar should appear in the ED office for questioning on Wednesday. ED had raided some premises related to Rohit Pawar's Baramati Agro 15 days ago. After this, ED has sent summons to Rohit Pawar.
ED had recently taken major action against Rohit Pawar. ED had raided six locations linked to Rohit Pawar's Baramati Agro Company. This also included the offices of Baramati Agro in Pune and Baramati. ED examined the documents.
This raid of ED had created a sensation in the politics of Maharashtra. When the relevant action was taken, Rohit Pawar had gone abroad. After the action he returned to Mumbai the next day. He had criticized BJP and NCP's Ajit Pawar faction over this action, but now he has been directly called for ED questioning.

ED is investigating the money laundering case. BJP leader Kirit Somaiya had made serious allegations against Rohit Pawar. He said that Rohit Pawar's Baramati Agro Company rigged the auction of Maharashtra State Cooperative Bank and bought the Kannada Cooperative Sugar Factory for only Rs 50 crore.
