Vikramaditya Motwane made his debut in the year 2010 by directing the film 'Udaan'. In the initial phase of his career, he worked as an assistant to director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. He has assisted Bhansali in films like 'Devdas' and 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam'.
Motwani describes working with him as attending a 'film school'. But today Motwani is counted among the brilliant filmmakers and interesting storytellers. He has also produced many films with Anurag. Now Motwani is working on his new project, in which he is going to try to tell about a real incident.
Vikramaditya Motwani presents each of his projects with a new style. According to reports, now he is going to show a true incident related to the Indian Navy in his new film. The name of this film could be 'The Trident'. Nikhil Dwivedi has also approached him for this film. Motwane is currently in talks with IMAX to join the film as a partner.
However, no specific information has been revealed yet regarding the film. But reports are claiming that this film will show 'Operation Trident' in the history of the Indian Navy in the year 1971, which was commanded by Babru Bhan Yadav and Admiral Nanda. He is called the brave hero of the navy.
If reports are to be believed, the filmmaker has already finalized the stars for the roles of Babru Bhan Yadav and Admiral Nanda. But they have not been announced yet. Pre-production work of the film has started. It is being told that the film will go on the floors by April this year.
Talking about Vikramaditya Motwane's work front, he directed the period drama web series 'Jubilee' in the year 2023. Along with this, he is also working on a web series based on Sunetra Chaudhary and Sunil Gupta's book 'Black Warrant'. In this, the story of the people lodged in Tihar Jail of Delhi will be told.
