Talking to a newspaper, Deepak Mukut said, “We are planning a sequel to Nayak and want to take this story forward with the old ones. I had purchased its rights long ago from producer AM Ratnam. Currently we are working on the script of the film and other actors will also be in this film. As soon as we complete the story, we will look at other things. The name of the director is also in our mind, but we have not finalized anything yet.
