Offline registration facility closed
Since the beginning of Char Dham Yatra in Uttarakhand, huge crowds of devotees have been arriving for darshan. For the convenience of the people, online registration has been arranged by the government, but seeing the offline registration system, people are reaching Haridwar and Rishikesh directly. In view of the continuously increasing crowd in Char Dham, offline registration has now been banned. The system of offline registration was banned on Thursday. Which has now been extended till May 19. Earlier, the ban on offline registration was fixed till May 16. The Tourism Department has taken this decision in view of the increasing number of devotees registering offline and the increasing crowd in the Dhams. On Thursday, Tourism Secretary Sachin Kurve has given instructions to extend the ban on offline registration till 19.
Health check up being advised
All the devotees coming on Char Dham Yatra have been advised to get their health checked before coming here. Health experts claim that if you have severe respiratory and heart problems then do not travel. It has been advised to go on a journey only after getting permission from the doctor. Considering the difference in temperature between the plains and the mountains, pilgrims have been asked to take rest before moving from the plains to the hilly areas to acclimatize their bodies. Along with this, people have been asked not to walk too much. Actually, the heat is at its peak in the country right now. At many places the temperature has reached 40 degrees or more. At the same time, the temperature in Char Dham remains between 15 to 20 degrees Celsius. The temperature here is below 10 degrees Celsius at night. Due to which it is common for people's health to deteriorate, hence all the devotees are being advised to come only after getting their health checked.
