India Women tour of Bangladesh: In the fourth T20 match played in Sylhet, the Indian women's team defeated the Bangladesh women's team by 56 runs under the Duckworth-Lewis rule and took an unassailable 4-0 lead in the five-match series. Playing first in the rain-interrupted match, the Indian team scored 122/6 in the stipulated 14 overs, in reply, chasing the revised target of 125, the Bangladesh team could score only 68/7 after playing the entire overs. Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur (39 runs in 26 balls) was named player of the match.
Earlier, the Indian team, which came to bat after losing the toss, had a bad start and opener Shafali Verma was out in the second over after scoring 2 runs. Dayalan Hemlata scored 22 runs and returned to the pavilion on the score of 36 in the fifth over. Rain knocked in the next over and after a short wait when the play started, the overs were cut short. However, when the game resumed, Smriti Mandhana's wicket fell first and she was out in the eighth over after scoring 22 runs.
From here Harmanpreet Kaur and Richa Ghosh took charge and took the score beyond 100. Richa scored 24 runs in 15 balls with the help of three fours and one six. His wicket fell at the score of 104 in the 12th over. Harmanpreet also got out in the 14th over after scoring 39 runs in 26 balls with the help of five fours. The wicket of Pooja Vastrakar (1) also fell in the same over. Whereas, Sajeevan Sajna remained unbeaten after scoring 8 runs. For Bangladesh, Rabia Khan and Marufa Akhtar took two wickets each.

While chasing the target, Bangladesh's innings faltered from the very beginning and the team lost 6 wickets within 50 runs. During this, Dilara Akhtar scored the maximum 21 runs and Rubaya Haider scored 13 runs. The team's seventh wicket fell in the 14th over at the score of 66 and Bangladesh team could not even come close to the target after playing the entire over. Shorifa Khatoon remained unbeaten after scoring 11 runs. Deepti Sharma and debutant Asha Shobhana took two wickets each for the Indian team.
