SRH IPL Final Scenario: Sunrisers Hyderabad may have faced defeat in the first qualifier match played against Kolkata Knight Riders in Ahmedabad but they still have a chance. Sunrisers Hyderabad will get one more chance and by performing better in it, they can make it to the finals.

Sunrisers Hyderabad lost against KKR

The first qualifier match of IPL 2024 was played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. In this match, KKR easily defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 8 wickets. Batting first, Sunrisers Hyderabad team was limited to 159 runs in 19.3 overs. In reply, Kolkata batted brilliantly and achieved this target in 13.4 overs by losing only 2 wickets. With this victory, Kolkata team has now reached the final of IPL 2024.

On the other hand, the path for Sunrisers Hyderabad has now become difficult but they still have a chance to reach the finals. Actually, the top-2 teams in the points table get two chances to go to the finals. Even if they lose their first match, they will still get another chance. Sunrisers Hyderabad has lost the first qualifier but they will still get one more match.

Sunrisers Hyderabad will face the winner of RCB vs RR

The eliminator match will be played between Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore and whichever team wins this match will face Sunrisers Hyderabad. If RCB team wins against Rajasthan then they will face Sunrisers Hyderabad in the next match and whichever team wins that match will go to the finals. For this reason, Sunrisers Hyderabad still has another chance. They are now waiting to see which team wins the match between RCB and Rajasthan Royals. Whichever team wins, they will face Sunrisers Hyderabad in the second qualifier.
