The court has sent Bibhav Kumar, accused in the alleged assault case on AAP MP Swati Maliwal, to three-day police remand. Delhi's Tis Hazari Court gave this verdict on Tuesday. Now Bibhav Kumar will be produced in court on May 31. This is the second time Bibhav Kumar has been sent to police remand. Earlier, he was sent on remand for 4 days.
Bibhav Kumar was arrested by the police in the case of assault on Aam Aadmi Party's Rajya Sabha MP and former Delhi Women's Commission Chairperson Swati Maliwal. The case was heard in the court of Metropolitan Magistrate Gorav Goyal in Tis Hazari Court on Tuesday. After this, the court sent Bibhav Kumar on police remand for the second time. The next hearing of the case will now be held on May 31.

Delhi Police had sought remand of Bibhav Kumar for 5 days. Metropolitan Magistrate Gaurav Goyal heard the entire case and sent Bibhav to police remand for 3 days. Now Bibhav will be produced in the court on May 31 between 3 and 4 pm.
The arrest was made on May 18
Bibhav Kumar, the accused in the alleged assault case against Swati Maliwal, was arrested by Delhi Police on May 18. On May 24, the court sent Bibhav to 4-day police remand, which ended on Tuesday. After this, Delhi Police produced Bibhav in the court.
Swati Maliwal had alleged
Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal had alleged that Bibhav Kumar had assaulted her in the CM House on May 13. When the matter escalated, Delhi Police got Swati Maliwal medically examined. After this, a case was registered and Bibhav Kumar was arrested. Recently, a bail plea was also filed on behalf of Bibhav Kumar, which was rejected by the court.
