After visiting the Ram temple in Ayodhya, low-cost airline company Indigo has announced to start air travel between Jharkhand and Deoghar to strengthen regional connectivity. After the start of Indigo service, passengers will be able to easily have darshan of Lord Shiva. Indigo has announced to start direct flights between Deoghar and Bengaluru in Jharkhand from June 1. The company said in a statement that direct flight services to Deoghar will be available three days a week on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The airline said that flight number '6E 6435' will take off from Bengaluru at 10.05 am and reach Deoghar at 12.25 pm. The return flight '6E 6437' will depart from Deoghar at 12.55 pm and land in Bengaluru at 3.25 pm. Indigo said that the new route will increase connectivity from the southern part of India to the famous religious centers of Jharkhand. This decision has been taken in view of the increasing number of passengers traveling from Deoghar to Ranchi and Patna. The number of devotees traveling from Deoghar to Ranchi and Patna is high.

50% booking done within 24 hours
Booking of Deoghar-Bengaluru flight starting from June 1 increased to 50 percent within 24 hours. Booking of tickets started on 10th May at 7 pm and till 7 pm on 11th May, more than 80 tickets have been booked from both sides. On June 1, 50 percent passengers have booked tickets for the first flight from Bengaluru to Deoghar and back from Deoghar to Bengaluru.
