Converted Wasteland to CG

He said, “We are responsible for around 700 shots in 'Kalki 2898 AD'. We did most of the work in the film to convert the desert wasteland to CG. Our biggest task was to create futuristic vehicles. These vehicles were being designed to run at high speeds in the desert and engage in a major battle between the lead characters. To accomplish these shots, we used a variety of visual effects techniques. We included environments, vehicles, weapons, destruction, digital stunt doubles, holograms, etc.”

Science-fiction themes

Apart from this, the compositing supervisor said for 'Kalki AD 2898' that this film will have a deep impact on Indian cinema. This is a very big project, which has many interesting ideas and a big science-fiction theme. Along with Prabhas, Bollywood actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Disha Patani also appeared in the film. Deepika is shown pregnant in the trailer. Disha is also seen in the trailer for a few seconds.
