After being a flop in theatres, Akshay Kumar's Rs 350 crore film failed on OTT too?

Akshay Kumar has many big films in his kitty. This year, he has 3 big films coming up, while one has already been released. His 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' flopped badly at the box office. Recently, the film made its OTT debut, where it proved to be a bigger failure than the picture theatres.

Akshay Kumar has been making headlines since the beginning of the year. At present, he has many big films in his kitty. While one film has already been released, three films will hit the screens this year. These include 'Sarfira', 'Sky Force' and 'Welcome to the Jungle'. Apart from this, Akshay Kumar is also working on the sequels of many films. Shooting will also begin soon. He is known for his super fast style. Work on one film does not even finish and the second and third are announced. But the last few years have not been good for him. After continuous flops, what he was expecting from 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' could not be fulfilled.

His film 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' was released on 11 April, but the film flopped badly. The 350 crore film could not even recover its budget. A huge star cast was seen in the film. Tiger Shroff, Sonakshi Sinha, Prithviraj Sukumaran worked with Akshay Kumar.

Akshay Kumar's BMCM fails even on OTT

Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff's 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' was released on Netflix on June 6. After being a flop at the box office, Akshay Kumar had high hopes from OTT. But even here the film has not been able to do anything special. Recently Netflix's ranking chart came out. It revealed that Akshay Kumar's film is trending in only one country on Netflix. At the same time, it is in the top 10 in only 14 countries. At the same time, Kareena Kapoor, Tabu and Kriti Sanon's 'Crew' has been in the top 10 in 17 countries for a long time. Leaving behind 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan', which made its OTT debut, it has made its place in the top 10.

The film, made on a huge budget of 350 crores, has not been able to do anything special on OTT either. While 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' is currently at the top of the most watched Indian films in its first week with 2.9 million. On the other hand, 'Crew' managed to gain 2.4 million in the third week. In such a situation, it seems that by the third week, the viewership of Akshay Kumar's film will decrease significantly. However, it is often seen that even if a film does not perform well at the box office, it does wonders on OTT, but Akshay's 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' failed in that too.
