America's big attack on Houthis, seven radars, two ships destroyed

The US Army's Central Command said that seven radar bases in the Houthi-controlled area have been destroyed in the attack. For the past seven months, Houthi rebels have been targeting ships passing through the Red Sea in protest against the Israeli attack on Gaza.

The US Army has taken a major action against Yemen's Houthi rebels. The US has attacked the Houthi-controlled area and destroyed a drone and two ships along with its seven radar bases. Officials said on Saturday that the rebels were using these radar centers to attack ships in the Red Sea. However, the rebels say that these attacks have been carried out to stop the Israel-Hamas war in the Gaza Strip.

The US Army's Central Command said that US attacks have destroyed seven radar bases in the Houthi-controlled area. And the pilot of a Liberian-flagged ship went missing after the attack by the Houthis. Some time ago, Houthi rebels also took nine UN personnel captive. All these personnel are from Yemen. These captives also include a woman and a special envoy.

Over 30 attacks on ships

For the last seven months, Houthi rebels have been targeting ships passing through the Red Sea in protest against the Israeli attack on Gaza. Just two days ago, these rebels had targeted a Greek-owned ship. The international task force of America, Britain, Australia, Bahrain, Canada and Holland constantly tries to destroy the hideouts of Yemen's Houthi rebels. It is reportedly believed that these rebels have the support of Iran. Let us tell you, since November till now, the rebels have attacked many ships in the Red Sea.

Are the Houthi rebels so powerful?

The Houthi rebel fighters have proven in their ongoing war with Saudi Arabia that they can face the army of any country. With the alleged support from Iran, they have transformed from a scattered group to a fighting force. They have modern equipment as well as their own helicopters. Although the Houthis have long been successful in fighting their major opponents, the fight against the US and international allies is considered different. Their power and strategy are far greater than the Saudi army.
