Meanwhile, former Indian cricket team cricketer Harbhajan Singh has selected Team India's playing XI for the T20 World Cup 2024. Harbhajan Singh has dropped wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant and spinner Kuldeep Yadav in his playing XI. 

Which batsmen were given a chance?

Talking about the playing eleven of the Indian team in the T20 World Cup, Harbhajan Singh said that Yashasvi Jaiswal will take over the responsibility of opening with captain Rohit Sharma in the T20 World Cup. After this, Virat Kohli will come to bat at number three and Suryakumar Yadav will strengthen the Indian team at number four. But at number five, Harbhajan Singh has named Sanju Samson in place of Rishabh Pant. After this, Hardik Pandya will play for the Indian team at number 6.
