Google brought new features
Edit Send Messages
Google Messages will soon let you edit sent messages. You will get a second chance to correct typos, add missing words or send it. This is similar to the Edit Message feature found in WhatsApp etc. However, you will have 15 minutes to edit the sent message. Just tap and hold the RCS message to edit the message within 15 minutes.
Easy hotspot sharing and device switching for video calls
A new feature has also arrived for tablets. With the new Instant Hotspot feature, users can connect their Android tablet or Chromebook to their phone's hotspot in just a single tap. No password is required for this.
Plus, you can switch devices during a Google Meet call by tapping the Cast icon, allowing for a seamless transition between your Android phone, tablet, or web browser.
New Emoji Kitchen Combos
New stickers are coming to Emoji Kitchen just in time for the festive season. Pair together favourite emojis like the disco ball and headphones and share them as stickers via Gboard.
You will be able to control Google Home devices from the home screen
A new Google Home Favorites widget can be added to your phone's home screen, allowing for quick management of your smart devices.
You can check the room temperature or turn off the lights with a single tap. This widget is available to those in public preview.
Smart device control on Wear OS watches
Customize your Wear OS smartwatch with Google Home favorite tiles and complications for easy access to your smart home devices. Control lights, door locks, and temperature settings right from your wrist.
