An ASI of a police station in Dhanbad, Jharkhand has been accused of harassing a woman. The woman, along with her husband, has filed a case against the ASI in the police station. It is alleged that the ASI repeatedly calls the woman to a hotel and asks her to have physical relations. The woman did not go to the hotel, but she recorded her conversation with the ASI on the phone. The ASI has also given clarification in the matter.
The police is responsible for our safety. But when the same police becomes a threat instead of providing security, where should a person go? A similar case has come to light from Dhanbad in Jharkhand. Here, an ASI of a police station did something to a 30-year-old man that would make anyone angry on hearing it.
He was neither ashamed of his age nor of his position. 55-year-old ASI Mahendra Kumar had evil eyes on a 30-year-old married woman. He would repeatedly make audio and video calls to the woman. He would force her to come to meet him at a hotel. That too, well-dressed. Not only this, the ASI told the woman that he wanted to have physical relations with her.
The ASI even threatened the woman. He said that if she did not agree, her husband would be implicated in a false case and sent to jail. At first the married woman got scared. But later she started recording the ASI's calls.
More than 20 call recordings
So far, the married woman has recorded more than 20 calls of the ASI and has kept them with her. The intention of the ASI is clearly visible in all these phone calls. The married woman also told this to her husband. After this, the couple reached the police station with all the evidence. There they told the entire matter to the SSP. A case was also registered against the ASI.
ASI gave clarification
The SSP ordered an immediate investigation into the matter. The ASI has also given clarification in the matter. He said that he had received a complaint of wrongful transaction against the woman's husband. He is investigating that matter. That is why the couple wants to implicate him in a false case. So that in return the case of the woman's husband can be hushed up. But the ASI could not give any clear answer on those call recordings. At present, the police is investigating the matter. This investigation is being done on the basis of statements of both the parties.
